Where these rates come from

Live exchange rates are pulled from Frankfurter.app, a free API backed by European Central Bank reference rates, updated once each business day. Because this runs entirely in your browser, you'll need an internet connection for the rate to load — if it can't reach the server, that'll be shown below the converter instead of a silently wrong number.
